FogLight makes searching easier for your customers, but best of all it’s fast. Search results update instantly as your customer chooses their preferences — there’s no waiting for page refreshes or slow web servers.
Filtering with sliders
Drag slider buttons to set the lowest and highest price range and your search results are instantly updated as you drag.
Compare Items
Found an item that you’re interested in? Just drag it into a comparison box for later. When you’re ready, just hit the “compare” button and you’ll get a side-by-side comparion of all the items in your comparison box.

Adding an item to the comparison box is as easy as drag and drop — just like on your Windows or Mac desktop.
Keyword filtering
Can only remember part of the name of a product? Don’t worry, FogLight allows you to search by typing in any part of a product name.
Maximum use of screen real estate
FogLight adapts to your screen. Lucky enough to have a 30-inch monitor? FogLight will allow you view dozens of items at a time. Stuck with an old 14-inch screen? Don’t worry FogLight will work with that too.
Thumbnail grid or table views
A picture is worth a thousand words, but words are easier to sort — FogLight lets you view your search results both ways. Use the grid of thumbnail photos to quickly identify items in your search results or sort through columns of tabular data.
Sortable results
Want to see your search results ordered from most expensive to least expensive? Click on the “Price” column header and FogLight will instantly sort your results by price. Want to reverse the order? Just click again. You can even drag entire columns to new positions in the table.

Do I have to update 2 databases if I use FogLight?
No, FogLight uses the information from your existing database — it just displays it in a way that’s much easier and faster to search. Just keep updating your database as you currently do — there’s no extra work.
How does FogLight talk to my database?
Your website is already displaying product information from your database in the form of web pages. FogLight just reads an XML-formatted version of these web pages. That’s it — no messy database connections — your IT department will thank you.
What are the system requirements to use FogLight?
Since FogLight is hosted with your existing website, there are no additional hardware costs to worry about. All your customers need is a web browser with the Flash plug-in. Don’t worry, 97.3% of Internet viewers already have it.
Will FogLight look like my company’s identity?
We can customize FogLight with your company’s name, colors, and logo. Since the FogLight brand name or logo isn’t displayed anywhere, FogLight is transparent to your customers — they’ll think it’s your own custom-built solution.
